About the Young
Campaigners Programme

There are more than 340 million adolescents and young people in India. Many are catalysing and leading social change with creative ideas, while driving innovation-led solutions.

Today’s youth, individually and collectively, is powered with optimism and belief in change. They are not willing to be fence-sitters any more but ready and willing to chart the change in their ecosystems.

Save the Children’s Young Campaigners initiative is an effort towards enabling YOU – the Youth of India to become active changemakers.

The youth have the potential to question the way things are and lead the change towards how things must be.

The Young Campaigners Initiative is aimed at harnessing the individual and collective potential of the youth. Because EACH ONE is a CHANGEMAKER!

Established in 1919, Save the Children is one of the largest independent child rights organisations that works in over 110 countries to ensure that all children learn, survive and are protected.

In India, with a presence in 18 states, we are a leading independent child rights organisation and have changed the lives of more than 14 million children in the last 13 years.

In a world where millions of children are denied their rights because of who they are or where they live, we aim to put the most deprived and marginalised children first, and tackle the barriers to their survival, learning and protection.
