Kerala is facing the worst flooding in the last 100 years. Death toll has climbed up to 370 (as of August 20, 2018) and the situation is worsening with each passing day. Lakhs of people are living in ill-maintained relief camps where they grapple with acute shortage of clean water, food and medicines. The fear of spread of water-borne diseases looms large.
As always, children are the worst-affected. They are at the receiving end of intense psychological trauma as they deal with the loss of homes, belongings and even loved ones in some cases.
Save the Children is responding to the flood crisis in Kerala. We urgently need your support to provide life-saving relief to children and their families. It’s an unprecedented tragedy for Kerala and people desperately await help.
Will you stand with the children of Kerala in their hour of need? Please donate now. Every bit of help counts.
