To win this war against COVID-19, we have to ensure that everyone who is eligible gets vaccinated. Many people are still not taking the vaccine as there has been a lot of misinformation surrounding the vaccines and their development.

To raise awareness among the people and debunk the myths related to vaccinations, Bal Raksha Bharat initiated the COVID 19 Vaccination Awareness Campaign in Kukshi and Manawar Blocks of Dhar District in Madhya Pradesh. This drive is being held in collaboration with District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) and Panchayat Raj Department.

Sh. Rahul Chauhan SDM, Manawar, said, “In this ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, there is a great need to create awareness about vaccination. I am glad that Bal Raksha Bharat is running the Vaccination Awareness Campaign. Through this effort, we will be able to motivate the community to get vaccinated.”

This campaign will cover 250 villages and will reach to more than 15,000 community members. Sh. Rahul Chauhan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, flagged off the Campaign in Manawar. In Kukshi, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of that region Sh. Vivek Kumar flagged off the van that will go to the various villages and play a pre-recorded messages that will explain the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccination.

Sh. Sachin Dube, Member of District Child Welfare Committee, said, “This campaign will help overcome the misconceptions about vaccination and raise awareness on COVID-19. This campaign will reach the digitally dark rural areas and be effective in behaviour change and increase uptake of the vaccine.”
