Project KUSHAL

In Pune, we worked towards helping Ranabai Ambedkar Maternity Hospital’s  overworked healthcare professionals by creating a convenient IT based platform. This hospital only has 2 doctors and 15 nurses. Thus, this web-communication platform allowed Doctors and Nurses at the target locations to attend training while sitting at the facilities and without hampering the routine service delivery. We then collaborated with the Pune Municipal Corporation, BJ Government Medical college and AWAYA to reach this platform to 15 locations. Furthermore, 7 batches of master trainers for maternal health have been oriented into the programme and 9 batches of facility-based training have reached 49 nurses.
