INTEGRATED SCHOOL SAFETY AND RESILIENCE BUILDING
Being one of the most at-risk communities, children living in slums need to be made aware about their position and be resilient towards disaster. We are committed towards reducing children’s vulnerability to emergencies and providing the support they and the families need to recover and re-establish themselves. This project is being implemented in 60 schools and 4 informal community settlements in the South and South East districts of Delhi. Our aim is to strengthen their resilience to disaster, climate change and protection risks. This intervention focuses on developing children and youths communities as well as institutions, especially schools towards understanding the key concepts and practices of resilient schools and resilient slums.
