The Healthcare Leadership Awards aims to recognize Doctors, Healthcare Professionals, Hospitals, Clinics and Institutions that have played an Integral Role in developing and diversifying the Healthcare Landscape. Talking about the award and Bal Raksha Bharat’s role in it, Arun Kumar, CEO Apnalaya said, “This award would not have been possible without sustained support from Bal Raksha Bharat. With SC, we have been able to impact the lives of thousands of mothers and children in Shivaji Nagar, Mumbai. This kind of impact would have not been possible if the partnership had been conceived in a typical project-cycle framework. This award is an acknowledgment of Apnalaya-SC partnership”.

Talking about our partnership with Apnalaya our CEO Bidisha Pillai said, “Partnerships are the bedrock of Bal Raksha Bharat’s work in India, whether they are with children themselves, communities, grassroots organizations, CSOs, the private sector or media. Apnalaya is one such longstanding partner for us since the last decade with whom we have been able to bring an impact on the lives of thousands of children. The commitment of their team, the strong ties they have with the community and their passion for ensuring every last child enjoys their rights is remarkable and what makes them one of our most trusted and shared value partner. With them, we have been able to empower many young children, girls, and boys, to tackle issues like education, nutrition, menstrual hygiene, etc. in some of the most difficult places in Mumbai. These children are now the champions change-makers, changing not just their own but the lives of many children around them. As an organization, Apnalaya has fostered meaningful partnerships in collaboration especially in advocating for the rights of children and the communities. We look forward to a strong collaboration with Apnalaya in the future as well.”
