The Union Budget 2022 was an opportunity to significantly bolster investment in children of the India – the future of India – who have been coping with the perils of the pandemic in their own way since almost two years now.  At the Save the Children feel that while the Budget does lay emphasis on ensuring learning continuity for children, it falls short when it comes to addressing the protection and nutrition needs of children and social protection for the most marginalised families.
