Save the Children congratulates its board member Dr Swaroop Rawal for being named as one of the top 10 finalists of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize. An Ex-Miss India and a veteran actor, Dr Swaroop, has been shortlisted from around 10,000 nominations and applications across 179 countries.

She makes use of unique teaching methods like drama and life skills to reach out to children across different segments of society in India. The annual prize will be announced at the Global Education and Skills Forum in Dubai next month.
