India’s most respected industry body, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and world’s leading child rights NGO, Save the Children have joined forces for the cause of most deprived children of India. The two organizations inked a pact to work together to reach out to children in need. Through this agreement, CII will look at engaging the corporate sector in shaping an agenda towards positively impacting the lives of children, particularly those hailing from the poorest socio-economic background. The pact was signed during the recently-concluded visit of Save the Children International’s CEO, Helle Thorning-Schmidt for the launch of ‪#‎EveryLastChild‬ campaign in India.
