Every year, India celebrates the Daan Utsav – the biggest festival of charitable giving – from October 2nd to October 8th. Also known as the ‘Joy of Giving Week’, this period sees people from all walks of live indulging in acts of kindness. People donate in-kind gifts, resources, time and even money to benefit those in need.

At Save the Children, the Daan Utsav is celebrated with great gusto. Our teams across India participate in various “giving” drives in their own unique way. They walk to extra mile to ensure that children and their communities gain from our initiatives. The spirit of giving flies high during this week at Save the Children and as we go out there to help those who’re at the fringes.

Employees and staff across all state and project offices have been defining giving their own ways by participating in plethora of activities.
