Glimpses: Save the Children Teams Observe International Women’s Day 2022

Jharkhand: In Jharkhand, we observed International Women’s Day with Frontline Workers and Panchayat members in Sonua Block of Jharkhand.


Assam: Women’s Day celebrations were held at the Tea Gardens in Assam



New Delhi: On International Women’s Day, we were a part of the inauguration of the MCD school where Save the Children has contributed towards the customising school infrastructure to aid learning. Hon’ble Union Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh joined the inauguration virtually. The initiative has been rolled out as a part of the partnership between Save the Children and Municipal Corporation of Delhi.


Telangana: Prasanthi Bathina, Senior Manager at Save the Children was felicitated by the Continental Hospital on International Women’s Day, for her outstanding contribution towards welfare of children.

Odisha: We organised a youth-led media interface meeting where young adults put forth their demands to key stakeholders for a better future.
