In over 100 schools of Karnataka, Bal Raksha Bharat’s ‘Making School Smart’ project is using technology to bring innovation in the teaching process and bridge the learning gap. Through this partnership, we’re fulfilling the diverse learning needs of children from the marginalised sections of the society, with a focus on girl children.
The project aims to increase access to quality system of education by promoting “Safe School Concept” and equipping the children with quality learning to overcome the challenge of learning crisis, which was experienced in 2020-2021 due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
How We’re Making a Difference
- Installing Audio Video equipment such as flat screen TV/monitors, projectors, bar speakers and cameras in classrooms
- Setting up Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) labs equipped with latest devices and experimental kits
- Creating Self-learning Spaces in school through creative wall paintings
- Supporting renovation and repair work in schools
- Help dropout children re-connect with education
As per the Indian Income Tax Department’s rules, a donor is required to add their Full Name, Address and PAN number in case they wish to claim tax exemption.
